BIRDS! Written and Illustrated by Lindsey Pogue (in 3rd grade)
The hubs reads the first story I ever wrote while recording this week's episode of Grumpily Ever After.
Dearest Rogueling,
Today I’m stopping in with a fun little diddy.
Today's recording of the Grumpily Ever After podcast took me down memory lane. A blast from the past, if you will.
Many authors have been writing all their lives, and I am no exception, as you'll see below. The fun part is, I finally got the hubs to sit down long enough to read the first story I ever wrote while we were recording. Needless to say, his commentary was highly entertaining to me.
It's funny, the more author friends I talk to about this podcast, the more I realize the fact that my husband doesn't read my stories isn't all that strange.
So, here's a sneak peek of Birds! written and illustrated by me circa 1992.
If you'd like to listen to the podcast, you can find it all the places below.
Until next time, happy reading and writing adventures, wherever the wind may take you.
Here are the images Dennis took for your viewing pleasure (with a note to appreciate the bird without a neck):
This is his favorite - the one without a neck.
